This course is an exposition of the Vaibashika and Sautrantika philosophical views, based on the The Gateway that Reveals the Philosophical Traditions to Fresh Minds root text and the new Mind and Its world III Sourcebook. The presentation of these views are based on teachings given by Acharya Kelzang Wangdi on the Gateway that Reveals the Philosophical Systems to Fresh Minds root text during the 2009 and 2010 Summer Institutes. His talks have been incorporated into the new Mind and Its World III Sourcebook.

Dr. Francis Sullivan
TEACHER
Francis Sullivan has been a practitioner and a student of Tibetan Buddhism since the early 1980s. He began his studies at Nitartha Institute in 2008 and in 2019 was made a fully authorized faculty member for the Shedra program. Francis holds a PhD in Biochemistry and lives and teaches in Boulder Colorado.
